SASSA SRD payment dates 2026 for R370 and R350

SASSA SRD payments are released in monthly windows, not one fixed day for everyone. Use the 2026 schedule below, then check your own status. Your actual R370 or R350 pay date depends on approval and banking verification.

SASSA SRD payment dates 2026

SASSA pays the SRD grant in a monthly window from the 21st to the 30th, in batches, so there is no single SRD pay day for everyone in 2026.

The finder below lists the published window for each month of 2026 and labels each row as official, observed, or not yet announced. We never guess a date.

This month, November 2026

SRD: not yet announced. SASSA has not released a November 2026 SRD date.

Other grants: Older Persons Friday 30 October 2026 (paid early), Disability Monday 2 November 2026, Children's Tuesday 3 November 2026, grants under review Thursday 5 November 2026. These are not SRD dates.

The 2026 rows show what has already been paid and what is still open. March 2026 had no published SASSA schedule, and November and December 2026 have no announced date yet.

Last updated: 28 October 2026.

About this tool

We show only what SASSA has said, or what has been seen in real payments. We never guess a date. If SASSA has not announced a month, the tool says "Not yet announced". The usual SRD window is the 21st to the 30th of the month, paid in batches. This is a guide only. SASSA can pay earlier or later.

Status updates usually appear monthly around the 10th–20th, and it is busiest from the 18th to the 26th. Check your own status at srd.sassa.gov.za/sc19/status.

Why your SRD pay date can be later

Your pay date can come later than the published window because SASSA pays each approved month in a batch and holds the money until your bank account is verified.

Every approved month is paid inside the usual 21st to 30th window. If your status shows Bank Details Pending or Identity Verification Failed, payment waits until the account passes verification. That takes about 3–7 working days, and the account must be in your own name.

A month that was paid on time says nothing about next month. SASSA processes the SRD month by month, so each month is approved and paid on its own.

Check your status again after the 20th. If your bank details are pending, update them yourself for free at srd.sassa.gov.za. Never pay anyone to speed up a payment.

Check your own SRD status first

Check your own status for free on the official SASSA SRD portal before you rely on any published date. Your own pay date only shows once your month is approved and your batch is scheduled.

Use your 13-digit ID number and the cellphone number you applied with. If you see Approved, that month has been approved and will be paid in a batch. If you see Pending, the month is still being processed.

Other ways to ask: WhatsApp 082 046 8553, email srd@sassa.gov.za, or call 0800 60 10 11 (Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00). The USSD code *134*7737# may not work.

SASSA SRD payment date FAQs

Do all SRD beneficiaries get paid on the same day?

No. SASSA pays in batches, and each approved month is scheduled on its own, so two people approved in the same month can still be paid on different days because their banking checks finish at different times.

Are the SRD payment dates the same for R350 and R370?

Yes. R350 was the amount until 31 March 2024, and the grant became R370 from 1 April 2024. The amount changed, not the payment window, so the same monthly schedule applies to both.

Why do some months have two payment windows?

SASSA pays in batches, so some months run in two parts. April 2026 was paid on 23–24 and 29–30 April, and May 2026 on 21–22 and 27–28 May. If your money did not come in the first part, it can still come in the second.

What do “observed” and “not yet announced” mean?

An observed date comes from real payment runs, not from a SASSA poster, so treat it as a guide. "Not yet announced" means SASSA has released no date for that month, and we do not guess one.

What happens when a pay day falls on a public holiday?

SASSA does not pay on a public holiday. In September 2026 the window was 23 and 25 September, because 24 September is Heritage Day. That is why that month had two dates.

What if my money has not arrived?

Wait 48 hours after your pay day, then check your status again. If it still shows Approved with no payment, call 0800 60 10 11 or send a WhatsApp to 082 046 8553. You can also email srd@sassa.gov.za.
